It's interesting - I kept redrawing that map every time we played or I read an interesting book for the last 20 years, but it's always basically held this shape. (Once, I read a book about William Wallace, and turned the peninsular on the left into Scotland. That kind of thing.) I like the abstraction of it - you can suit it to almost any scale you want, too...
